About 48Guess

48Guess is an independent, fan-made daily trivia game about 48Group (JKT48, AKB48, and related sister groups). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any official talent agency, record label, management company, or the artists themselves. Group names, song titles, artist names, and cover art belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary purposes in a non-commercial fan trivia context.

Accounts

You can play 48Guess without an account. Signing in (by email link or Google/Apple) lets your stats follow you across devices and lets you optionally appear on the leaderboard. You're responsible for keeping access to your sign-in email or OAuth account secure. One account per person, please — don't create multiple accounts to inflate your leaderboard standing.

Fair play

To keep the daily puzzles and leaderboard fun for everyone, please don't:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to guess, scrape puzzle answers, or submit scores;
• Try to reverse-engineer or extract that day's answer before playing it fairly;
• Publicly share that day's answer in a way intended to help others cheat;
• Submit misleading or impersonating display names on the leaderboard.

We may remove leaderboard entries or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

The only content you submit is your display name and, indirectly, your gameplay results. You're responsible for what your display name says — we may remove or reset display names that are offensive, impersonate someone else, or violate these terms.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. This immediately and permanently removes your account and every score associated with it. We may also suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

No warranty

48Guess is provided "as is," as a hobby fan project, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, and song preview clips / metadata depend on a third-party API (Apple's iTunes Search) that we don't control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 48Guess and its creator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as 48Guess changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
